April’s Baba Yaga turned out to be a hastily sketched chicken hut using a bleach pen on a black T shirt. Not my best work, but I still kind of like it. Sketching with a bleach pen is difficult—you pretty much have to do it all in one take.
Turns out though, a hastily sketched design with a mostly irreversible medium has most accurately described my life as of late. As I alluded to in my last post, things have gotten so complicated and difficult in day-to-day reality that I have fallen behind on my project. It never does well to get too complacent, too smug in your charting. Things can get blown off course, oh so easily. May and June are all partials which will be completed here soon—and then? Only a few months until the end of this particular project! Hard to believe!
